Traverse City Light & Power (TCL&P) has been providing safe, reliable and affordable electricity to our residents, businesses and industries for a remarkable 100 years - powering the community with energy and commitment.
TCL&P kicked-off its 100th year celebration on December 2, 2011, at the downtown tree lighting event. TCL&P donated new energy efficient LED holiday lights for the main tree, along with passing out over 500 balloons to children at the event.
TCL&P also developed a 2012 Commemorative Calendar which was available to all customers. The calendar highlighted TCL&P’s rich history in the Traverse City area and used all local images of our hometown. Did you get your copy?
